We all know that there are a lot of mothers that are raising their children without any help. The truth is that, I can relate because I am a single mother raising two children. It is very difficult to try to manage the day to day routine and try to assist your children with whatever it is that they want to do with their life. You might find yourself working, going to school and running all over the place.
Some mothers are in situations where they aren’t receiving any help with child support or even being given a break. It is so sad to see those women that crack due to depression and being exhausted with this task. I hate to see those new articles where mothers have taken their children lives and their own. It saddens me that we don't have enough people that care about changing this problem.
With this organization, we plan to provide support to as many single mothers as we can. We have helped with providing financial assistance towards bills, we offer free counseling, we conduct educational workshops and empowerment opportunities. The goal is to help minimize the feeling that single mothers get when they feel like there is no one out there to help them. With what we are doing and planning to continue to do, we hope to make an impact in the single mother community.
